Description

This delicate shrub is found growing in shady woods, along streambanks and on north slopes at elevations below about 3600'. Their spreading roots and stems can rapidly naturalize an informal area. The flowers are a modest pale pink and are in bloom in late spring. Be aware that the fruit may be toxic to humans. They would appreciate an occasional deep watering.
