Description

This dark pink, almost red deciduous currant was found by Barrie Coate near the Geysers in Sonoma County. This selection grows to about 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide. The flowers are a beautiful deep red which bloom from February through March. It tolerates full sun and infrequent watering. Will prefer a part shade environment in inland locations. Extremely hardy to frost conditions, 0 degrees or lower.
