Romanzoffia californica - Mist Maidens

Description

Native to shady, rocky places in the redwood and fir forests near the coast from Santa Cruz Co. to Del Norte Co. and from Siskiyou Co. to Washington. Clouds of dainty white and yellow flowers top bright green leaves from March to May. Less than 1' tall and summer dormant, plant in an area by itself as other plants will crowd this one out. Spreads easily from underground tubers.
