The intense color and charming flower shape make this 10" Shooting Star a garden treasure. Common to coastal California, and usually one of the first of our spring wildflowers, it can be seen as early as the begining of February. Grow it in full sun on the coast or in light shade inland. Henderson's Shooting Star likes plenty of spring moisture and a dry summer. Ideal in containers.
