Description

Very prostrate form of juniper, growing 1'-2' high and 8'-10' wide. Grows at a moderate rate, very drought tolerant. Can be watered regularly on a well-drained site, which can encourage faster growth. The lovely bluegreen color of the leaves of this shrub make it an attractive and neat groundcover. Plant in full sun or in light shade. Native to stony and wooded slopes in the Sierra Nevada, north to Alaska, to Greenland and Northern Eurasia.
