Festuca rubra 'Jana's Blue' - Red Fescue

Description

A very blue form of Fescue, collected at Point Arena in Mendocino County. It has a stiffer, more upright habit than the U.C. form of blue Fescue. Takes full sun near the coast, part shade inland. Needs occasional water. Lovely contrast to bright green plants. Can be used in mass planting for a meadow effect, or as a striking accent plant in border or rock garden.
