Description

One of our loveliest native ferns, the Five-Finger Fern is a common sight adorning the edges of waterfalls and springs throughout the Bay Area. Growing on steep slopes with running water, it demands a combination of excellent drainage and constant moisture to thrive. Plant on a slope, or a slight mound of soil amended with gravel. Winter dormant.
