Possessing a dense, uniform habit this uva-ursi reaches a height of 1 foot with a breadth eventually spreading to about 6 feet. Because of its dense form it suppresses weeds and is very drought tolerant and frost-hardy. Can take a variety of soils, even clay if there is a slope.
