Description

A prostrate to decumbent shrub 2 to 10 inches high. Branches will root as they spread along the ground. Leaves are dark green and holly-like. Flowers are blue to purple, appearing in March. Rare, native to dry, shrubby slopes in the middle North Coast Ranges of Napa, Sonoma and Lake counties. Allow good drainage and plant in full sun to very light shade. Drought tolerant.
