Description

A very rare and hard to find plant, this compact evergreen shrub forms a dense mound. Narrow gray green foliage lends an unusual texture to the dry garden. Pale pink flowers in summer dry to a striking rust color in fall. Seed heads can be removed, but that would take away from this plant's ornamental appeal. Well drained soil is best, but tolerates some clay, as long as you don't water it once it is established. Prune back every winter for healthy spring growth.
