Description

An attractive shrub native to coastal forests. Glossy green leaves are accented with small white flowers in spring, followed by small delicious fruit - one of our tastiest native plants. One of the best plants for the back of a shady bed where its dense habit and lovely foliage make a pleasing backdrop. Loves acid soil - mix peat moss into the soil when planting.
