A few Clarkia blooms are beginning to show in our meadow here and there -- in this picture they are identifiable as little spots of pink. The Clarkia seem to be blooming later in our meadow than in other places around the garden. |

A special treat -- this turtle wandered through the garden last week, giving us a lovely photo-op. From the recently crusted algae on his/her shell, he/she appears to have only recently emerged from the water (where he/she spent a lot of time!). |
