Description: Our most popular shrubby Wild Lilac, 'Dark Star' is a dense, small leaved shrub to 6 feet tall and wide. One of the most profuse bloomers as well as one of the darkest blue Ceanothus, its purple buds and cobalt blue flowers cover the plant in spring. Prefers full sun, lean soil and little or no water when established. Usually deer resistant - expect a little browsing on the new growth.
