This Monkeyflower's large cheerful bright yellow flowers are a common sight peeking out of roadside seeps and ditches around the state. Mostly winter dormant, stalks rise in April and are soon topped with lots of flowers, which can persist into fall if the plant is cut back periodically. A great container plant, or for an area of the garden with lots of water, under a leaky faucet or at the pond's edge.
