Salvia apiana compacta var. - Compact White Sage

Description

While the regular Salvia apiana reaches somewhere between 3-5 feet, Salvia apiana var. compacta remains closer to 3 feet when finally grown. The leaf size and shape are the same as its close relation, but the leaves on the compacta remain closer to each other on the stem, allowing the plant to fit more comfortably in a small garden. Tall stalks filled with hundreds of small white flowers extend from the foliage and bloom throughout the summer.
