Description

From Southern California comes this diminutive native Brodiaea. Beautiful blue-violet flowers appear in spring, held on six inch tall stalks. A wonderful addition to a meadow garden, they are best planted along a path where they can be appreciated up close. Like most native bulbs, they should not receive any water during the summer, while they are dormant. This species is more tolerant of heavy soils than most other native bulbs. Three bulbs per container.
