Festuca rubra 'Jughandle' - Red Fescue

Description

This low, spreading native grass is commonly used as a lawn substitute. The blue gray foliage will rise about a foot, and form a little mound a couple of feet across. It is fairly drought tolerant, especially near the coast, but looks its best with regular water. Tolerates sun or light shade, and heavy soil.
