Description

Low, mat-forming plant related to the Buckwheats. Makes a dense groundcover. Native to the coast from Monterey County northward. Planted in coastal areas, it needs only occasional water.The small, white flowers are not showy, but the plant provides a much needed change from the low forms of Baccharis used as ground cover in coastal landscapes.
