Description

A shrubby perennial which grows 4' tall and about as wide. Very attractive large, yellow tubular snapdragon-like flowers appear sporadically April to August. This native of dry rocky slopes of southern California is very drought tolerant and may go deciduous in extreme years. It should be given well-drained soil with little summer water. Prune heavily to shape. A good choice to mix with sages for flower color complement and growth form.
