Grows along the coast from Alaska to N. California and inland to Idaho and Montana. Grows at a moderate pace to 125' or more. Has fern-like yellow green leaves. Needs water in dry situations. Large specimens are very picturesque with their drooping branches. Makes a good screen or backround planting.
