This selection of the Common Stonecrop has striking, red foliage. An excellent, low-growing groundcover for partly shaded rock gardens or dry mixed borders. Spreading but not invasive, it will need no water in cool coastal climates but will need some summer water in hot inland areas. The yellow, star-like flowers appear May-July on stalks which rise 5-8" above the leaf rosettes. Native from southern California north to British Columbia.
