One of our most popular shrubs, Island Bush Poppy is from the Channel Islands. A dense evergreen shrub. Give sun, good drainage, and minimal water. On the coast, can bloom almost year-round if pruned occasionally. Be very careful not to disturb the fragile root ball when transplanting - fall to early spring is the best time of year. Cut back by at least half in fall for a denser, more attractive plant the next year. Gorgeous next to blue-flowered varieties of Ceanothus.
