Fort Bragg Manzanita is a small dense shrub reaching two to four feet in height and four feet in width. It grows well in coastal areas that get a lot of fog. It does well when planted in acid soils, with some summer water. Mix some peat into the soil when transplanting. This plant will do well in shady, wooded locations. Also a striking container specimen due to its compact nature and red-tinged tips.

This plant IS NOT LISTED on our most current availability list. (Printer friendly page generated on February 17, 2018.)
