A spectacular plant for a pot, bog garden or the edge of a stream or pond. Skunk Cabbage's flower is one large yellow petal somewhat similar to a Calla Lily, appearing before the foliage in early spring on a long stalk. Foliage emerges soon after, each broad, bright green leaf reaching several feet long. A native of boggy soil, often growing submerged, it does well in soil that never dries out completely.
