Description:
The Mount Diablo Manzanita is a rare species, occuring only in the region of Mount Diablo in the East Bay. Given sun and good drainage, it will make a handsome specimen for a dry garden, with white flowers, large wooly gray leaves, and the dark brown, gnarled branches characteristic of the manzanitas.
