This shrubby, golden flowered hybrid Keckiella originated as a seedling in the cultivar garden at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic garden. Most Keckiellas are useful in the garden as drought tolerant elements in sunny situations with well-drained soils. Some supplemental water is beneficial during the dry summer months and a hard pruning will improve the next summer seasons performance.
