Coast Redwoods are fast growing trees (3-5 ft. per year) that are adapted to coastal areas where they receive summer fog. Trees can reach a height of 70 to 90 ft. in 25 years. They are resistant to oak root fungus. The cultivar 'Filoli' was selected for its weeping habit and its blue gray foliage. In the garden it can be used as a specimen or a hedge.
