This Monkeyflower was selected for its deep green foliage and large ruby colored blooms. It prefers some afternoon shade and occasional water away from the coast, and will reach about 3 by 3 feet. We prune ours back to 6 inches in March for a bushier plant the following year. A great Hummingbird plant, as well as being a larval food source for the Checkerspot butterfly.

This plant IS NOT LISTED on our most current availability list. (Printer friendly page generated on January 23, 2018.)
