The Coast Silk Tassel is a large evergreen shrub found along the Coast Ranges of California. It is named for the beautiful cream colored tassels that dangle a foot or more from the ends of the branches in winter, making a spectacular show. The Silk Tassel will get quite large but responds well to pruning.
