A cultivar of the Little Sur Manzanita which is lower and tighter than the species. It forms a very low dense mat which grows moderately fast, with regular water to 10" high and 5 ' across. The shiny green leaves lie flat on the branches, and showy white flowers occur January to March, followed by red berries in the summer. Use for banks, rock gardens and small ground covers. Plant in a well drained soil or on slopes, in full sun or part shade.
