Description:
Native to well drained soils in our coastal forests, Redwood Ivy is a low perennial with apple-green, maidenhair fern-like leaves to about one foot. Dainty, nodding white flowers will rise another six inches or so in spring. Given light to medium shade and occasional water, it will creep among other perennials, forming a nice high groundcover. Unlike true Ivy, it is not at all invasive. Usually goes dormant for a brief period in fall and winter. Seldom available.
