Description:
This selection of the Maritime ceanothus has smaller leaves than most. With its stiff branching the effect is similar to Cotoneaster. Lavender blue flowers appear in early spring. This low evergreen shrub is native to coastal bluffs of San Luis Obispo Co. but works well inland with shade in the heat of the day and with regular water.
