Description:
This native sedge is an ideal plant for those looking for a native lawn substitute. Growing to about a foot tall, it withstands foot traffic, can be mowed, and though not completely drought tolerant, requires much less water than a typical lawn grass. Provide from half a day to full sun and water every two or three weeks in warm weather. Also excellent for erosion control.
