Description: The 'Tomales Bay' Fescue was selected for its steel blue foliage and low, dense habit. It is an ideal candidate for a border or as a ground cover for a small area. Its dark foliage and compact habit make it appropriate in a meadow garden, where it combines beautifully with our native grassland annuals and perennials such as Clarkia and Blue-eyed Grass. This grass is drought tolerant, but will look lusher with some summer water.
