Description:
Buttercups are one of the first wildflowers of the year. The bright yellow flowers of this small, charming perennial can be seen brightening grasslands and lightly shaded woods in February and, given a little water, blooms can continue until May or so. Provide sun or light shade, and occasional water. This perennial disappears early in the summer, only to reappear larger the following winter, and will reseed. Cute combined with Woodland Strawberry, for white and yellow flowers together.
