Description:
One of our loveliest native annuals, this annual member or the Phlox family can be found growing in the Bay Area in grasslands. Its petals are a work of art, with rings of blue and purple with a yellow Bird's Eye center. Wonderful in a bouquet. It is a favorite of many pollinators, and has a chocolate fragrance! Given full sun and not much water, Bird's Eye Gilia will provide at least a month of spring color. Will reseed.
