Tanacetum camphoratum Common Name: Dune Tansy Size: 16"h x spreadsw Sun: Sun-Part Shade H20: occ.H2O/moist Description: This tansie is from the San Francisco region where it grows in sandy soils in full sun. It sports beautiful fern-like leaves with a wooly aspect. In summer the yellow flat-topped cymes are showy. This plant will spread rapidly by stolons, and if watered liberally can become invasive. It can take summer drought, but will look better with occasional water. It is rare and endangered in its native habitiat because of urban development.
