Description: Ray Collett and Brett Hall selected this plant from a rock outcrop along the Mattole River in Humboldt County. Dense, silvery leaves offset tubular scarlet late summer blooms beautifully. A favorite of hummingbirds. In your garden give it sun and occasional water. Beautiful amid grasses or along a wall where it can spill down. As with all California Fuchsias, it is winter dormant and should be cut back hard for a neat appearance the following year.
