Description: A widespread species of Calochortus, this brilliant yellow species delights wildflower lovers around the Bay Area every late spring and summer with its tuliplike, intricately patterned petals. An easy plant to grow, just give it sun and no extra water. Each bulb will produce more, larger flowers over time, producing an 18" stalk with several flowers at maturity.
