Description:
One of the most striking plants around for the moist garden, the Umbrella Plant gets its name from its large palmate leaves that grow to two feet wide. It will form a large clump with age, and can be divided. Winter dormant, the leaves are preceded by tall stalks of delicate pink flowers. Give lots of moisture and part to full shade. It does very well in the Bay Area's climate.
