Description:
Foliage on this small buckwheat grows to 2' wide and 1' high, with vivid pink summer flowers held on 2' stalks. Native to the Channel Islands. Grow in full sun, with at least OK drainage, and infrequent watering. The flowers are an important food source for a range of beneficial insects -- a great addition to a butterfly garden. Thrives on the immediate coast, but also does well inland.
