Ceanothus 'Joyce Coulter' Common Name: Wild Lilac Size: 3'h x 8-10'w Sun: Sun-Part Shade H20: Occ.H2O/dry Description: This low, mounding shrub will reach 4' high and 8-10' wide. Its medium blue flowers are 3-5" long and bloom April to May. One of the older and better known Ceanothus varieties, it is an excellent performer under garden conditions, including heavy soil. It accepts both coastal and inland conditions, with protection from extreme heat. Plant in sun or part shade. While drought tolerant, it can withstand regular watering if the drainage is good.
