Description: This foot tall perennial has brilliant magenta flowers beginning in early spring. Native to coastal bluffs and hillsides on the western slopes of the Coast ranges. It likes good drainage and a little water, with full sun on the coast and morning sun and afternoon shade inland.. After bloom, prune off flower stalks to promote more flowers. A nice companion for other coastal perennials like Seaside Daisy, Bluff Chickweed, and Wallflower.This selection comes to us from Nevin Smith.
