Description:
Medium green shiny leaves and pretty yellow flowers make the Stream Violet a nice addition to the shade garden. This diminutive plant grows to 6" high and spreads to perhaps 1'. It reseeds easily, but needs water all year. Native to a large area of the West, in California it is found in the shade of Redwood and other forests from Monterey County to Alaska, and east to the Rocky Mountains.
