Description: This buckwheat forms a neat mound about 1' high and 2-3' wide of gray-green leaves. It blooms in late spring and early summer holding dense clusters of brilliant yellow flowers a few inches above the leaves. Evergreen, it takes full sun, and tolerates a wide range of soil types. Sulphur Buckwheat is drought tolerant but may need supplemental summer water in hot areas.
