Mimulus Madness!
There is no more colorful native perennial than Mimulus (Monkeyflower) to embellish your summer garden. Plant several shrubs side-by-side in a sunny border for months of show-stopping blooms. Our Hybrid Mimulus range from pink, red and purple to yellow, orange and white.
Their mature size will be 2'x2' to 3'x3'. Trim back finished blooms to encourage another flush of blossoms in late summer. You will not find such a variety at any other nursery. No two plants are alike so come make your selection when they are blooming, which is NOW! All 1 gallon plants are $12.

Pruning and Deadheading Secrets
Deadheading most plants is quite simple, and can take less than a minute per plant! With your pair of clippers in hand, look on the flowering stalk of the plant for the lowest shriveled flower. Clip the stalk back at the set of leaves below this point. Many plants are flexible enough for you to grab several stalks and clip them at the same time.
See the article "Basic Pruning & Deadheading Techniques For Common California Native Plants" for additional information on deadheading your garden.
